This paper address feasibility of sensors in wearable garments to assess stress in combatants from the Spanish Armed Forces. The paper describes the development of textiles with electrical sensors – chest straps, t-shirts, gloves, wristbands – to measure respiration, heart rate, and skin temperature. The paper discussed the advantages of various types of materials and methods of attachment to optimize measurement of the stress indicators.
