About the Presentation: This talk will demonstrate the need for longitudinal strategy tracking by describing an explainability gap in implementation research, introduce the LISTS method and online tool, and describe applications.
About the Presenter: Dr. James Merle is a research assistant professor at the University of Utah in the Population Health Sciences Department. Dr. Merle has contributed to implementation research across a range of service sectors, including school mental health, HIV prevention and care, family-based obesity intervention, cancer patient-reported outcomes, and virtual job interviewing skills. He particularly enjoys developing and refining innovative implementation tools and methods through user-centered design to support researchers and service systems with the goals of increasing the rigor of implementation research, reducing disparities, and improving care quality. To this end, Dr. Merle has supported the development and refinement of the Implementation Research Logic Model (IRLM) and the Longitudinal Implementation Strategy Tracking System (LISTS).
