Article Excerpt: The Graduate Student Council and the Guarini School of Graduate and Advanced Studies put on a “3 Minute Thesis Competition” last week at Moore Hall. The April 7 event saw 17 graduate students deliver a quick pitch about their research—all talk, no slides—in front of colleagues and judges. The winner, Reed Bratches, a PhD student at The Dartmouth Institute, took home $500 and a trophy for a presentation on how to support family caregivers by understanding and improving the communication of information from clinic visits.
