Program Overview
Pivot is a year-long multi-faceted program that provides support for individuals across the spectrum of quitting smoking. The program is designed to be completed across five sequential phases: Explore, Build, Mobilize, Quit, and Secure. During the Explore phase users provide CO2 samples with the Pivot Breath Sensor, log daily cigarette use, and focus on getting to know their own smoking behaviors and meeting their coach. In the Build phase user experiences are tailored to individual readiness, motivation, and confidence with the end goal of setting a feasible quit date and quit plan. Next users slowly put their individual quit plans into practice during the Mobilize phase. In the fourth phase, Quit, users begin their quit attempt on their decided quit day and maintain daily goals and progress tracking for their first week. In the Secure phase users are provided continued support and guided through developing internal motivation to remain smoke-free.
