Jake Ronan, MSc
Research Coordinator, Evergreen, Center for Technology and Behavioral Health, Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth
Jake is a research coordinator on the Evergreen team at the Center for Technology and Behavioral Health. His background is in software development, leading teams through multifaceted releases, and research projects in computer graphics and animation within computer science. During graduate school he and his class team implemented Google Research’s 2020 “Monster Mash” paper, which presents a novel method for 3D animation focused on converting 2D vector drawings to 3D animatable meshes. He is excited to gain research experience in human subjects research while working on Evergreen.
Jake has an MSc in Computer Science – Visual Computing from Brown University, which he attended on a full tuition scholarship, and a BA in Digital/Electronic Media Studies from Pomona College. An Upper Valley transplant, he loves improv comedy and all things outdoors, and can frequently be found with his dog in the conservancy land next to his home, touching grass.
