Kayla Zawislak, MSW, CADC has worked at the Addiction Policy Forum for the last 4 years where she is the Director of Patient Engagement. She works closely with those with a substance use disorder and their loved ones through Addiction Policy Forum’s helpline, digital therapeutics smartphone application, and research projects. Kayla has helped to customize, implement, and monitor two digital therapeutic smartphone apps through her work at Addiction Policy Forum. She values the support, resources, and connection that technology can give individuals with a substance use disorder, mental health diagnosis, and many other populations across the world.

Kayla obtained her Associate’s Degree in Addiction’s Counseling and her Certification in Drug and Alcohol Counseling, CADC, in 2017. She graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services in 2018 and completed her Masters Degree in Social Work with a specialty in Forensic Social Work in 2020. In her freetime, Kayla enjoys spending her time outside with her son and dog, hiking, running, and kayaking.
