Kat Bell, MS joined CTBH and the Northeast Node of the NIDA Clinical Trials Network from Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center (CCHMC). At CCHMC, she contributed to projects focused on inpatient-to-outpatient transitions and improving health outcomes of medically-complex patients with neurological impairment. In addition, Kat has experience and education in the field of community health. She has a MS in Health Education, with experience independently conducting HIV and Hepatitis C testing in the community, providing sexual health education, and coordinating referrals for high-risk individuals. At the Northeast Node, Kat will be assisting on research projects focused on prevention and treatment of opioid use disorder. Kat loves traveling anywhere and everywhere, her cat, being outdoors, practicing yoga, and both cooking and eating food.
