Ian David Aronson, PhD, researches how technology-based interventions can be most effectively used to reach underserved populations in clinical and community settings. His NIH-funded projects include efforts to increase HIV testing and facilitate improved risk reporting in high volume emergency departments. He also works in community settings to increase HIV/HCV testing, overdose prevention, and general access to healthcare among people who inject drugs. He is a Principal Investigator and Associate Research Scientist at the New York University School of Global Public Health. He is also the Co-Founder and Director of Research at Digital Health Empowerment.
