Alex Carp is from Colchester, Vermont and recently graduated from Colby-Sawyer College in New London, New Hampshire with his BS in Biology. Throughout undergrad, Alex had the opportunity to participate in a variety of different roles and activities that included varsity soccer, peer-tutoring, student admissions, research assistant, teaching assistant, and a Resident Care Assistant at Woodcrest Village Assisted Living. Alex’s undergraduate research included finding new methods to treat microbial resistance using antimicrobial peptides. This created a nice foundation and introduction to research, but he is excited to transition into the Center for Technology and Behavioral Health to participate in clinical trials to help the rural population of New Hampshire. During his free time, Alex enjoys staying active, listening to music, and volunteering at Franklin Animal Shelter.
