Alejandra Martínez is a Research Scientist at the Center for Technology and Behavioral Health (CTBH). She holds a PhD in Sociology from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (PUC). Her doctoral thesis aimed to understand the care in the interaction between pregnant migrant women and health professionals in Chile’s public health system.
Her main research interests are power relations, patient-centered care, and shared decision-making. Also, she is part of the International Network for Patient-Centered Care (PCC NET).
Alejandra enjoys running, cooking, and visiting new cafes to spend time and read.
