CTBH’s Dr. Jacobson delivered a keynote presentation at NIDA’s annual Steering Committee meeting of the National Drug Abuse Treatment Clinical Trials Network. Dr. Jacobson highlighted how digital health approaches can enhance precision assessment of mental health and substance use disorders using intensive longitudinal data – revealing new insights into the clinical course and symptom severity of mental health and substance use – and providing scalable, personalized technology-based treatments utilizing smartphones. He discussed the first randomized, clinical trial of a rigorously developed chatbot for mental health (Therabot), as well as Dartmouth’s Evergreen™ digital platform to promote thriving in student life. He highlighted how digital biomarkers and AI-enabled digital therapeutics can be transformative in providing scalable, personalized resources for behavioral health.
