Congratulations to Dr. Saeed Hassanpour and his team on receiving a multi-year award from the National Library of Medicine! The project, Advancing Digital Pathology through Novel Machine Learning Methodologies aims to improve the performance and accuracy of existing deep learning models for histopathological analysis, using innovative approaches that will address current challenges in digital pathology while saving time and resources in digitization efforts.
By improving histopathological assessments in clinical care and allowing for greater integration of that information with other clinical and molecular data, these novel methodologies will elevate the current standard of patient care.
