On October 21, 2026, CTBH hosted the 5th Annual Digital Health Summit at Dartmouth, which examined the science, impact, and rapidly evolving landscape of precision digital assessments and therapeutics. As wearables and smartphone data streams yield rich behavioral, physiological, and contextual data, and AI-enabled tools deliver personalized support anytime and anywhere, the Summit brought together scientists, clinicians, patients, health care leaders, students, payors, investors, regulators, and industry.
The afternoon poster session, selected through a call for proposals, showcased digital health innovations from the community, and prizes were awarded for the three best posters.
First place was awarded to William Daugherty-Miller (Data Analyst at Dartmouth Health Neonatal Clinical Trials) for Advanced Care at Home: Intensive Care Grade Monitoring Beyond the Hospital. His poster described a platform that streams continuous physiologic data from home to a clinician dashboard, supporting earlier NICU discharge.
Second place went to Angela Presley (Program Manager, Accelerators at the Magnuson Center for Entrepreneurship at Dartmouth College) and Siva Kandasamy (Software Engineer at Dartmouth College), for CoverageQ, an AI tool that condenses insurance reimbursement research into an easily digestible report for MedTech innovators and investors.
Third place went to Jialin Yang (PhD student at Dartmouth) for PortalEvent: Modeling Patient Needs and Clinical Actions in Large-Scale Portal Communication, an ontology that uses open-source LLMs to extract structured detail from patient portal messages, with the goal of easing clinician workload.
We thank all presenters for advancing the science and impact of precision digital health.
