The research team of Dr. Madelyn Frumkin is seeking a motivated postdoctoral scholar to join our dynamic and interdisciplinary team. Our lab leverages digital technology to improve understanding, prediction, prevention, and treatment of mental and physical health problems, with a particular emphasis on chronic pain and co-occurring disorders. Projects will include identification of novel digital biomarkers associated with chronic pain after breast cancer surgery and user-centered development of a digital therapeutic to reduce persistent opioid use and impairment after spine surgery.
The lab is housed within the Center for Technology and Behavioral Health, a P30 “Center of Excellence” funded by the National Institute on Drug Abuse. The successful candidate will have opportunities for mentorship in digital health, data analytic methods, manuscript preparation, grant writing, and more. Opportunities for clinical hours and supervision are also available.
