This case study provides an overview of the omnichannel implementation strategies employed in scaling the mobile health app Saathealth in India. The Saathealth family health digital interventions aim to bridge the healthcare and health information gaps in low-income populations. The app has reached >10 million users across India. The critical strategies attributed to the success of scaling the app began during development when the app was designed and tested with end users in mind. The changes were made based on end-user feedback and ensured cultural relevancy and a consistent user journey. Content was designed to be engaging, and gamified, and was delivered with consistent messaging across multiple platform types. Data analytics for user recruitment from these channels and content engagement were assessed on a regular basis and informed changes. The app design did not end at the initial development stages, to maintain scale and engagement The Saathealth family health digital intervention features were modified from ongoing feedback. This focus on engagement was also evident from the development of partnerships to provide health services within the interventions, alongside the engaging resources and education content.
