Sena graduated from Duke in 2020 with a Bachelor’s in Psychology and Global Health. During her undergraduate career, she was a research assistant at the Duke Early Experience and the Developing Brain Lab under Dr. Michael Gaffrey. Sena also was a summer intern at the Children’s Crisis Treatment Center in Philadelphia. There she analyzed and wrote reports on outcomes data and she assisted behavioral health workers in a trauma-informed Therapeutic Nursery program. Additionally, Sena had a summer psychology fellowship at the Moffitt-Caspi Lab, where she worked on and presented a research project. Currently, she is working at CTBH on the study “Scaling Up Science-based Mental Health Interventions in Latin America”. In her free time, she likes to read books, travel and spend time with friends and family.
